10月22日，有澳洲网友爆料，大猩猩、仓鼠和船长以及整个拍摄团队于澳大利亚当地时间10月20日到达达尔文。三台闪亮的GT跑车（亮黄色宾利欧陆、黑色宝马M6、蓝色GTR）在达尔文郊区恭候大驾。此后，三人驾驶车辆在南部靠近Batchelor地区Territory的机场跑道上进行直线加速赛。他们究竟在讲（e）述（gao）怎样的故（duan）事（zi）依然不得而知。姑且祈祷这是一段从达尔文到阿德莱德的史诗大片吧。那里可有着长达286公里的斯图尔特不限速高速公路。还有传言称他们22日在松溪的露天煤矿进行过拍摄。
而大猩猩本人也在22日发布了一张拍摄现场的玩火照片。从仪表盘来看，他显然驾驶的是那台黑色M6.
